The Ceramic Collection

Killiney Arts offers a beautiful and unique collection of ceramic tableware. Every piece in the collection highlights the exceptional beauty of the Irish landscape, making Killiney Arts tableware the perfect Irish designer gifts.

The collection includes mugs, cups and saucers, espresso cup sets, plates and bowls. There are two ranges and eight different landscape paintings to choose from allowing you to create your own distinctive collection.

Irish artist, Simon Hoe, has produced landscapes in five locations:

A view of Clew Bay in Mayo looking North – A tranquil hazy day is remembered through gently overlapping and fusing colours.

Slea Head near Dingle, County Kerry – A turbulent bay in bright sunlight, the waters heaving surface is rich in colour, waves are flicked into foam by a warm wind,  all this movement implied by quick brushwork.

The cliffs at Keel Strand in Achill – An awesome presence, shaded rock contrasting with the golden beach, gleaming sea between.

Killiney Bay in County Dublin – Gorse and heather cascade down Killiney Hill to meet a calm sea in the autumn afternoon.

The Irish Harbour Collection – Tiny boats huddle in a granite built sanctuary, tethered to ancient rings. A crane tells us this is a working harbour, as can be found all around the Irish coast.

Blaithin Quinn’s work evokes textures of Irish landscapes and seascapes, focusing on the Burren, Co. Clare. The imagination can create endless possibilities. A slow evening sunset of rich colour, the rock pattern on a quiet seashore or the reflected light of summer emerge from these images.
